Pearl Lake State Park

There is also open availability for backcountry camping, boating, cross-country skiing, camping, fishing, hiking, ice fishing, paddleboarding, picnicking, and so much more.

Dogs can also come and visit Pearl Lake State Park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your time in this state park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife System. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. 

All dogs and their humans must be well-mannered before they come to this park as Pearl Lake State Park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in this park. 

If you wish to camp, you must schedule a reservation.
