Penn's Landing Dog Park has not one, but two fenced play spaces. The littlest pupperonis can pawrty on in the enclosure for small dogs, while the bigger dogs get their doggo groove on in the space reserved for their use. You will still need to have access to a lead as Philadelphia leash by-laws do require all dogs remain leashed when entering and exiting off-leash play areas. And it's always a good idea to stay furiendly with the pawlice!
There are so many pawsome things provided at Penn's Landing Dog Park that you won't need to pack a doggone thing! Your main canine squeeze can wet their whistle with the provided drinking water, and you will even find cleanup bags for you to use in disposing of Fido's waste.Â
If you feel like taking a load off while you watch your doggo having fun, there are lots of comfortable benches under the shade of a hedge of mature trees. You won't get a sunburn at this doggy playground, but you just might feel so relaxed that you'll doze off with the tranquil sounds of the river gurgling in your ear.Â
You'll want to be sure to stop by your fave doggy dogtor to check that Fido is up to date on all vaccinations. While you're out and about, pick up a city dog license tag, and you're off to the races!
If Fido could benefit from a play date with some new canine furiends, plan to visit Penn's Landing Dog Park. The canines have voted, and they give it two paws up!Â
