Pepper Dog Park (at Reuben and Clarice Liechty Park)

Peppers Dog Park is a public dog park located at the Reuben and Clarice Liechty Park in Jamestown, North Dakota. The two-acre Peppers Dog Park is very popular among dog owners in the area due to its size, accessibility, and featured amenities.

This amazing dog park has a well-thought-out layout, and it is equipped with everything you would want in a dog park. There are two separate sections for dogs to play and run around in without a leash with their canine friends. 

There is a small dog area that is meant for breeds that are under 17 inches tall and a large dog run for those above. Both runs provide plenty of space for dogs to explore and enjoy their daily dose of off-leash exercise and socialization. 

The surface at Peppers Dog Park is made up of grass so make sure to pack a towel for your pooch’s paws to avoid a messy car on the way back. Trees are growing in and around the off-leash areas that provide a decent amount of shade for canines to cool off in. 

The dog park is equipped with several well-placed benches and picnic tables that dog owners can relax on throughout their visit. Dog waste bag dispensers are also available and can be found by the entrance above the trash cans, as well as throughout the park. 

There are drinking fountains in the park for both canines and their owners, as well as water bowls that dog owners can use to keep their canines hydrated all day. The drinking fountains are located within the off-leash areas on cement surfaces which help prevent the areas from getting muddy. 

In addition to the above, the Peppers Dog Park features shelters from both rain and sun and thus enables owners to bring their pooches to the park to exercise regardless of the weather. The dog park is located directly by the parking lot, making it very accessible to car owners.
