Perrine Wayside Dog Park

Perrine Wayside Dog Park can be found on South Dixie Highway. Lushly landscaped with two entrances, this 3-acre bark park is not only a canine-friendly place, but it is also a place where all other members of the family are accepted. Newly enhanced, one of the park’s improvements is a separate area for large dogs and small dogs.

The separation enables tiny and timid pooches to enjoy their space, protects them from injuries and prevents fights. There is an attractive gazebo where friends and family can gather or where pet parents can seek refuge under the hot sun while supervising their furbabies. New park furniture has been installed for people to use.

The large, filtered pond in the park is an excellent place for Spike to take a dip and have some water play and endless moments of fun but pet parents must keep in mind that they are responsible for the well-being of their furbabies. Please note that there are turtles, tadpoles, and fish in the pond too.

There are water fountains throughout the park with low, medium and standard water faucets, for both humans and dogs so there is no need to worry about having to bring additional water bottles and liquids. The park is very easy to locate and provides ample parking for those who would like to bring their cars. 

Safe and enclosed by sturdy fences, Perrine Wayside is gifted with gorgeous scenery, and a relaxing stroll around the park with your pooch should be in order every time you come to visit. There are multiple pick-up stations where you can dispose of dog waste. However, there are times when dog poop scoopers run out, so you must bring a few. Warm and pleasant people frequent the park, and it is a great place to make friends with fellow dog lovers.
