The Pets and People Humane Society uses this park themselves and will often leave canines there entirely unsupervised. This means there is often poop that has not been picked up and canines you do not know anything about with no owner to restrain or control them if something goes awry and you have signed a waiver removing them from any responsibility.
On the upside, this park is quite large with plenty of space for a canine to run. You can play frisbee and fetch in the open fields and there is quite a lot of area for your canine to explore. There are also almost always canines here, so if your goal is to socialize your younger canine, this may be a great choice.
The Pets and People Dog Park also has a nice little pond in the spring and summer months, so if your canine likes to play in the water or swim, this place is excellent. The fenced section is also separated into different sides for large and for small canines to play separately for safety concerns.
For you to get a membership to this park, all dogs over six months must be spayed or neutered. Your furry friend must also be up to date on all their vaccinations and be wearing the tags that provide proof of that. You can reach out to the Pets and People Humane Society on their website to apply or if you have any questions.
