Pine Dog Park

The Pine Dog Park is an off-leash dog park in Malden, Massachusetts. The dog park is an area of the Pine Banks Park which has been reconditioned and now serves as an off-leash exercising zone. There are various walking trails running through the main park as well as sports fields, picnic spots, and a small lake. 

The parking at Pine Banks Park is strictly controlled, and pet parents wishing to use the dog park facility should ensure they only park in one of the designated parking lots. Parking anywhere else will result in the vehicle being towed at the owner's expense. 

Dogs must be kept leashed in all areas of the park or on the trails unless inside the off-leash dog park. This dog park in Malden comprises of two compounds which cover almost an acre of ground. One of the fenced enclosures provides independent space for toy breeds to have their fun in and the other for larger breeds to let loose and expend their energy. 

All handlers entering the off-leash areas with a pup are required to be over thirteen years of age. Children below that age must be with a responsible adult. All owners are limited to two dogs per person, and if they are Pitbull breeds, they need to be muzzled while off-leash in the dog park. While using the dog park facility in Malden, pet owners need to comply with the city ordinance on dog parks. 

No food or drink, this includes pet treats, is allowed and there's a ban on smoking in place. Owners must ensure they use the correct enclosure for the size of their dog. They must also make sure their pet has no fleas, ticks or any transmittable disease which could be passed on to another dog or a human. All feces a pup produces must be removed from the off-leash area immediately.
