Poinciana Neighborhood Dog Park

The Poinciana Dog Park provides an ample open space for Scruffy to play safely, and it's a fun off-leash area for Scruffy to exercise. This park has a nice cement walking trail that encircles the grassy area that Scruffy will love. The dog park also includes a separate area for large and small pups so that Scruffy can mingle with dogs of the same size. 

There are also shaded picnic areas for doggy owners and available water. Visitors will be grateful for the poop bags and trash receptacles on-site. But the Poinciana Dog Park can get busy, and sometimes the bags are gone, so dog owners might want to pack their own.

Dog owners will enjoy the view of the many trees nearby along with the vast open fields. Scruffy will love splashing around in the kiddie pools that offer some relief from those hot, Florida, summer days. Scruffy should also take advantage of the tunnels and jumping obstacles inside the fenced-in area. There are a few shady trees that provide dog owners some escape from the sun. 

There are some rules at this neighborhood dog park, but they keep the park running smoothly: Clean up after your dog. If your dog becomes out of hand, your pooch will have to leave. In addition, dogs should have current rabies tags and vaccinations. And you should keep your pooch under voice control.

The park has nearby parking, so it is easy to walk Scruffy to the park. This fun doggy space remains one of the larger dog parks in the area, and locals gravitate here. It is also an excellent place for Scruffy to work on socializing skills with other fur babies.
