Whether you want to fish or hike, this park will provide you with fun adventures on any weekend. This park holds a lake that covers 12,000 acres, and there are also historical landmarks. You will be able to explore a homestead that sits in this park from the 1860s, and it is even ADA accessible. 

When you come and visit Red Top Mountain State Park, you will find many different amenities that are available for your enjoyment. You will find a beach, a marina, boat ramps, boat docks, playgrounds, picnic tables, picnic shelters, group shelters, campgrounds, cottages, a lake, and RV - trailer campsites. 

You will also have the chance to fish, hike, bike, geocache, wildlife view, nature view, go boating, and so much more at Red Top Mountain State Park. Dogs can also come with you to this state park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during your entire stay at Red Top Mountain State Park. 

During your stay at this park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Red Top Mountain State Park authorities. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. 

Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to Red Top Mountain State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in this park.
