Rotary Centennial Dog Park

The Rotary Centennial Dog Park is a designated area that provides a safe place for dogs to run off-leash. There is a separate small and large dog area. Elderly or timid dogs are welcome in the small dog area as long as they are gentle towards the smaller dogs. There is plenty of trees, shade, and benches for pet parents to sit and relax while they observe their dog playing. 

Dogs that love to play fetch will enjoy this park, just remember to bring along a ball. Cleaning up after your dog is necessary at this dog park. Always bring doggie waste bags along to ensure you follow the rule. You can also offer other pet parents that run out of supply a spare bag. This park is noticeably clean, and pet owners are required to keep it that way. 

Florida is well known for hot summer months. Pet parents are required to limit their dog’s exposure to the sun to avoid heat exhaustion. Providing your dog with plenty of water is essential to preventing heat stroke so make sure you bring along fresh water and a small bowl for your dog. Dog breeds that require extensive exercise are often a bundle of energy. 

Park rules suggest energetic dogs are walked briskly around the outer area of the dog park before entering to help avoid aggressive behavior towards others. Dogs that show aggressive behavior are the responsibility of their pet parents. Always observe your dog closely and keep the leash in hand in case of an emergency situation. 

You need to leash your dog and escort them out of the dog park area if aggressive behavior is exhibited. Overall, this is an excellent dog park to visit frequently. The Rotary Centennial Dog Park has plenty of shade, benches, and plenty of room for your dog to play, run, and socialize with others.
