Rover Run Dog Park (at Veterans Community Park)

Rover Run Dog Park is located in the popular Veterans Community Park in Naples, Florida. Housed on nearly two acres of property, this much-loved dog playground offers two fenced areas for dogs to gain regular exercise and enjoy some off-leash activity. One of the two enclosures was designed to meet the needs of dogs who are small, elderly, and timid. In this particular run, a more gentle style of play is adopted.

Among the outdoor opportunities are a community center, baseball fields, bocce courts, tennis and racquetball courts, a playground, soccer fields, sand volleyball courts, a multi-purpose arena, and covered picnic areas. Visitors to the dog park remark that the grounds are not kept very clean. In accordance with Florida state legislation, all dogs visiting public spaces must have current immunizations and a city dog license.
