Sampson State Park

When it comes to fun, the state of New York knows how to do it best. Located in the city of Romulus, the Sampson State Park is a beautiful place to come for all of your adventures that are filled with fun, exercise, and pure excitement. Sampson State Park holds over 2,000 acres, and it sits along the eastern area of Seneca Lake. 

When you come to this park, you will have to pay a vehicle fee. The fees are different through each season, so you may want to check the park's website before you come on down to visit this area. If you have the empire pass card, you can use it to enter this park as well. At this park, you will find many different amenities for enjoyment.

Throughout the Sampson State Park, you will find picnic tables, showers, a swimming beach, a trailer site, playing fields, playgrounds, grills, boat launches, trails, and many different areas that support all types of activities. The adventurous activities that occur in this park are endless. Dogs are allowed at this park, but they must remain on-leash. 

All owners and dogs must also follow the rules and regulations that are implemented by the city. Dogs must first be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can come to the Sampson State Park, and all female pups in heat and young pups under four months old must remain at home. 

Dogs should be well-mannered before they come to this park as they do not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and owners must clean up and watch over their pups at all times.
