Sangchris Lake State Park
Avid fishermen who have visited this spot note that the Sangchris Lake waters are teeming with bass, bluegill, catfish, and crappie, making it the ideal spot for an afternoon of bountiful fishing. The area is also home to 20 miles of equestrian trails as well as other hiking spots for families to enjoy.
Fido is permitted to join his family throughout Sangchris Lake State Park; however, as is the case with most state parks, he must remain on a leash at all times. Water is available via the on-site bathrooms. It's important to note that there is only one bathroom which includes showers, and it is shared between the two on-site campgrounds.
Complimentary poop bags are not available on the premises. With this in mind, owners should come prepared with extra bags from home to assist them with the proper cleanup and disposal of all canine waste materials. The Sangchris Lake State Park is a public recreational space and camping facility.
Access to the property is provided at no cost. Campsites are available by reservation, and it is assumed that they are fee-based. It is unknown what the cost to reserve a camping space might be. Sangchris Lake State Park offers many recreational opportunities for families to enjoy. Among some of the most popular activities are bird watching, hiking, camping, picnicking, and hunting.
The Sangchris Lake State Park is also home to plentiful wildflower gardens in season. Sangchris Lake State Park requires all canine visitors to be up to date on vaccinations.
