Satellite Beach Dog Park
This family favorite dog play haven offers two fenced spaces suitable for dogs to enjoy regular off-leash exercise and opportunities for socialization with other canines of similar size and personality type. One of the play spaces has been reserved for use by dogs weighing 25 pounds or less.
To ensure the safety of all dogs, it is strictly forbidden for large dogs to enter the small dog play area and vice versa. In accordance with Florida state law which prohibits dogs to be off lead anywhere that is not a designated off-leash zone, dogs must remain on a lead of no more than six feet in length when entering and exiting the runs as well as in all other public places.
The E. Lorraine Gott Dog Park is a private dog playground. Entrance to the grounds is fee-based, and park officials thoroughly screen each potential member prior to acceptance. Monthly and yearly memberships are available though the cost is not known. Those wishing to visit on a less frequent basis can purchase a day pass.
Day passes are $2.50 to permit entrance for up to two people and two dogs and $3.50 if the allowed number of people and dogs per pass is exceeded. At the time of application, the E. Lorraine Gott Dog Park staff requires the following items: vaccination records from a veterinarian, a signed registration form, and a signed waiver.
Proof of a rabies vaccination (at a minimum) and a Brevard County dog license must be evidenced via visible tags on each dog's collar. This beloved dog playground is well-equipped to ensure a great day at the park. Each enclosure is complete with drinking water to provide a place for Fido to get a cool drink when needed.
