Just southeast of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sequoyah Bay State Park is a water lover’s dream! But more than that, the park has plenty of room to explore and a huge variety of outdoor recreation options for you and your family to enjoy. Fort Gibson Lake has 19,100 surface acres and 225 miles of shoreline. The lake has three boat ramps, five modern comfort stations with showers, and a swimming beach.
The Cypress Cove Marina also offers a full-service marina facility with gas, equipment rentals, food, and other fishing supplies available for purchase. Other entertainment in the park includes a playground, picnic tables, and several sporting courts including baseball or softball, basketball, and volleyball. For campers, Sequoyah Bay State Park features 71 modern, RV-friendly sites with water and electricity, as well as two dump stations.
If you prefer to tent camp, the park has 180 regular tent sites with 30 and 50 amp hookups available. Prices for sites start from $14 for a basic tent site. Some discounts may be available for seniors or disabled visitors. If you’re interested in bringing a meal and enjoying the park for the day, there are plenty of picnic tables and even some group shelters that you can reserve in advance.
