Sharon Dog Park (at Sampson Park)

The Sharon Dog Park is a public dog park located at the Sampson Park in Sharon, Massachusetts. In addition to the dog park, the Sampson Park is home to a large lake, nature paths, basketball courts, tennis courts and plenty of parking. The dog park can be found just a few minutes down a walking trail from the Sharon Skate Park.

Since it is one of the few fenced, off-leash dog parks around, it is very popular among dog owners in the area. It is conveniently located in a beautiful, wooded location and equipped with everything you would need in a dog park. It is securely fenced and has a double-gated entry system to prevent canine escapes that may occur when others enter the park. 

The Sharon Dog Park is approximately one acre in size and has a separate small dog area which is great if your furball is timid, less active or simply prefers playing with those his size. The dog park has a water spigot and some bowls for canine hydration, free dog waste bag dispensers, and plenty of conveniently placed trash cans. Please make sure to clean up after your pooch if you visit this well-maintained dog park as the regular patrons do their best to keep this park poop-free. 

There are also several benches placed throughout the park in both shaded areas and sunnier ones, enabling dog owners to keep their four-legged friends in sight while remaining cool and comfortable. The park's surface consists of a mix of grass, mulch, and woodchips so it rarely gets muddy and in most cases allows for easy clean-up.
