Sheffield Dog Park

Oldsmar, Florida is pleased to host the area's newest dog park, known as Sheffield Dog Park. Situated on 12 acres of property, this dog play haven houses several fenced dog runs that are suitable for roughhousing, wrestling, and running all without the need for a leash. 

With the needs of small, timid, and senior dogs in mind, Sheffield Dog Park has designed a play space specifically for their use. A park that encourages dogs to enjoy the play areas completely off-lead, the management does ask that all owners keep a leash on hand in case of emergencies. 

Sheffield Dog Park proudly offers entrance to their dog play spaces at no cost to the public. It is not known if water or poop bags are provided on the premises. With this in mind, owners should come prepared with all of the items they may need for Fido during his time at the park. 

Nearby family-centric Sheffield Park is heavily laden with outdoor adventures for families to enjoy. Hoping to burn off some excess energy? Why not take advantage of Sheffield Park's baseball diamonds or basketball courts? Tennis more your thing? Sheffield Park is also home to many tennis courts. 

Also housed on the property is disc golf, a playground, and many picnic areas and shelters. If you enjoy hiking, Sheffield Park has many trails to explore. Fido is welcome to join his family in these areas of the park, but he must remain on lead when not in the fenced play spaces designated for off-leash use. Bathrooms are also available in this area of the park.

There are no officially posted rules regarding expectations for visitors to this park. To do your part against the spread of disease, current vaccinations are always a good idea. Additionally, Florida law mandates that all dogs out in public spaces be licensed with their respective cities.
