This pawsitively awesome doggy play haven rests along the banks of the Four Mile Run Creek. A gate connects the property to the water. If your pooch loves to swim, it's your lucky day because this creek is dog-furiendly! Your main canine squeeze can practice their best doggy paddling skills then stretch their legs in the vast grass areas in the runs. Be sure to pack a bag which includes all of the necessary things for a day of park fun including drinking water and cleanup bags. Food is strictly forbidden within the dog park grounds.
As with many dog parks, there are some rules you and your pup must abide by at Shirlington Dog Park. Park officials do ask that all dogs be current on their rabies vaccination and licensed with the city. It is mandatory for all dogs to wear a rabies tag and County Dog License tag on their collars to enjoy this pawrific pawblic play space.
