South Run Dog Park is located in the northwest corner of the large South Run Park. It's the pawfect place for your dog to burn off some energy and play with the other dogs in the neighborhood. Your pal will be head over paws once you unhook their leash in the fenced-off area.
This dog park only has one section that welcomes dogs of all sizes, which could be intimidating for the little puppers. It is however, large enough that pups can find their own space to play, or break into a full run. The surface is made up of mostly gravel and sand, which helps keep the area clean and mud free. You won't need to worry about your pal getting bored here, as there are plenty of tennis balls to go around, a small agility frame, and other puppy pals to play with. Water bowls are provided, but you'll need to bring your own drinking water and doggy waste bags. The area has a combination of sun and shade, and some seats for the humans.
The rest of South Run Park is mostly known for it's excellent facilities, which includes a fitness center, spa, pool, field house, and even a zipline course. There's truly something for everyone in the family! While only service dogs are allowed indoors, the surrounding area has plenty of outdoor green space for your pal to sniff and play. Since the dog park is mostly comprised of gravel, this is the place to go if your dog is craving the feel of cool grass between their toes. Please keep in mind that puppers need to stay leashed whenever they're not within the fenced-off dog park.
Doggos are welcome throughout the whole area as long as leash rules are followed, they are picked up after, and remain respectful to others. South Run Dog Park is sure to put a wag in your dog's tail!
