Split Rock Creek State Park

Split Rock Creek State Park is a delightful 1,303-acre park that welcomes dogs. There’s no additional fee bringing your dog, and the park allows breeds of all sizes. However, dogs need to remain on a leash that measures six feet or less at all times during your visit. 

Camping with your dog is a fun experience, and this park makes it easy since the campgrounds allow dogs, as long as they are on a leash. Owners can’t leave their dog unattended at the campsite or anywhere else in the park. You can explore hiking trails with your dog just make sure you bring along necessary supplies such as fresh water, doggie poop bags, and a first aid kit in case your dog needs help.

Dogs need to have up-to-date vaccinations, including rabies to visit this park. Owners need to display vaccination, identification and license tags on their dog's collar at all times.
