St. Andrews State Park is in Panama City, Florida. This stunning property and campground consist of 1,200 acres of land which includes a long stretch of coastline along the Grand Lagoon and the Gulf of Mexico. This idyllic recreational area earns high marks from visitors for its pristine white sand and brilliant green seas.Â
For those who enjoy water sports, St. Andrews State Park is the ideal destination. Among the on-site attractions are swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and canoeing. With several boat ramps and a fishing pier to its credit, this state park is a haven for both boating and fishing aficionados.Â
Through the spring and summer months, Shell Island Boat Tours are also in operation. Tickets can be purchased by reservation and for an additional fee. Fur babies are welcome to join their owners at St. Andrews State Park, but they are not permitted access to any beach areas, playgrounds, or public buildings.Â
In all other areas, all canine visitors must remain on a lead. There is no designated dog play area at this much-loved recreational center, and drinking water is not provided. Owners should bring bottled water and poop bags with them from home. It is the responsibility of all owners to clean up after their dogs and properly dispose of their waste materials.
St. Andrews State Park is a private recreational area, beach, and camping facility. To enter the grounds, owners must pay a fee of $8 per vehicle containing 2-8 people. For those visiting the facility alone, the fee is reduced to $4. Campsites and cabins are available for rental by reservation only.Â
An additional cost is applicable. Other recreational opportunities include nature trails, bird watching, and primitive camping. There is also a concession stand housed on the grounds which sells fishing supplies, snacks, and drinks. Bathrooms are available for public use.
