Description
Stagecoach State Park is a recreational area and campground in Oak Creek, Colorado. This beautiful facility offers visitors stunning views of the surrounding mountainous regions and on-premise lakes, giving the property a tranquil air. Nestled in the Yampa Valley near to the renowned Steamboat Springs, Stagecoach State Park has something to offer every member of the family. 

Dogs are permitted entrance to this lovely state park; however, as is the case with most recreational spaces, they must remain on a lead. This property does not have an area reserved for dog play, and no on-site amenities are provided. Owners should take care to bring drinking water with them as well as poop bags as the responsibility for canine waste removal lies with them. 

Stagecoach State Park is a public recreational area and camping facility. Entrance to the ground is fee-based. A day pass can be obtained for $7 with a yearly pass available for $70. Passes can be purchased online or at the entrance to the park. Though the website does note a variety of accepted forms of payment, recent visitors have noted that park officials will only take cash at this time. 

This beautiful park is home to many great activities sure to please every member of the family. Among the recreational opportunities are hiking, biking, boating, and fishing in the summer months and ice fishing, dog sledding, fat tire biking, and cross-country skiing in the winter. A concession stand, camp store, and water sports equipment rental facility is available on the grounds. 

Campsites are by reservation only and are fee-based. This area provides the ideal backdrop for a picnic, barbecue, or bonfire. During the daytime, visitors can enjoy viewing the area wildlife in its natural habitat as well as experience the fragrant wildflowers when in season.
