Sterling Forest State Park

Sterling Forest State Park is situated in the New York region, bringing visitors within the community of Tuxedo a beautiful place to come and explore. At Sterling Forest State Park, you can bring your favorite pup, but they need to be on-leash, and the leash can be no longer than around six feet. When you come here, you can bike, fish, hike, ice fish, hunt, snowshoe, sightsee, and even horseback ride. If you want to ride horseback, you will need a permit. 

There is also a gift shop and museum that you can check out while you are in the park. Humans and dogs must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the state park. Dogs should be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can come to Sterling Forest State Park, and female dogs in heat and young puppies under four months old should stay back at home. 

Dogs must be well-mannered before they can come to this park as aggressive dogs cannot enter the park, and humans will be responsible for watching over and cleaning up after all types of dogs. There will also be a fee that you must pay to enter the state park.
