Summerport Dog Park

For a day of fun you and your pooch will not soon forget, plan a trip to Summerport Dog Park. It's a pawsome place to spend your day! Summerport Dog Park is found inside Summerdale Neighborhood Park. There is lots of free pawrking available on the side streets just off the main road. 

This pawsitively awesome park offers two fenced play spaces where pooches can pawrty on. Bring your littlest pupperonis to run, roughhouse, and play in the off-leash enclosure reserved specifically for them. Bigger pups who prefer the ruff and tumble lifestyle will find doggoes who like more exuberant play in the space designated for large dogs to enjoy. Both runs are equipped with a double gate to prevent any escape attempts by would-be canine Houdinis. 

Though a leash is not required in the designated off-leash play zones, please keep one with you at all times. You will need it when travelling to and from the enclosures, as well as in Summerport Neighborhood Park. 

Summerport Dog Park is chock full of pawsome things your main canine squeeze will need for their day of fun in the Florida sun. You will find each of the runs contains drinking water and clean-up bags. Both the small and large dog play areas contain a cement walkway, lots of grass, and shade from trees. If you fancy taking a load off, you'll have lots of opportunity as there are many benches in both dog runs that give you the pawfect vantage point to keep an eye on your doggo and catch up on some R&R. 

The family furiendly Summerport Neighborhood Park is also worth a visit! There are lots of spots that are pawrific for enjoying a picnic lunch. You can choose from picnic tables or a covered pavilion. Bring along a packed lunch or snacks from home for you and your pooch to enjoy. This wooftastic park also features a circular walking path, exercise stations, and lots of grass areas.
