Tanglewood Bark Park

Tanglewood Bark Park is located within the large family-centric Tanglewood Park in Houston, Texas. This dedicated dog facility is home to two fully fenced play areas. One of the two enclosures is reserved specifically for use by small dogs. Though the dog run areas are designated off-leash zones, owners are required to carry a lead with them at all times in case of an emergency. In addition to this, it is mandatory for all dogs to remain on a leash in all other areas of the park and when entering and exiting the play areas.

Access to this beloved public space is free of charge. Families visiting Tanglewood Park have many great amenities to choose from. Among the exceptional recreational opportunities are tennis courts, playgrounds, a baseball diamond, a paved walking track, and a large open grassy field suitable for many different athletic ventures. Also on the premises is a gazebo to provide respite on hot summer days or even as a shelter in which to enjoy a picnic lunch. 

Water is provided on-site to help keep Fido and his family well-hydrated. It is unknown if bathroom facilities are accessible on the premises for public use. Also not known is whether or not poop bags are available at this public doggy play space. Owners are required by law to carry bags with them to pick up and properly dispose of all canine waste in a prompt fashion.

Tanglewood Bark Park offers comfortable picnic style seating for families to enjoy. There are also benches in shaded areas throughout the property to allow families to relax and rest while observing Fido at play with his favorite canine pals. Though there are no official rules governing the use of this public space, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations.
