You will see dogs in the winter rolling in the snow. The park is well maintained, and dogs are evaluated before allowed in the park. Make sure your dog is spayed or neutered and make sure he can socialize well with other dogs. Always keep your dog up-to-date on his shots and vaccinations, and have him wear his collar at all times. Don't forget to pick up after him, otherwise, you or someone else might step in a pile of poop.
The park also has an inn on the grounds catering to people with or without fur-babies. If you are a guest, you and your pup's pack can rent out the park space for a fee on select Sundays and Mondays for private doggie parties, sporting events, breed meetups, training graduations, or dog picnics.
Unfortunately, the Leesburg Canine Country Club is not accepting memberships as of May 2018 or earlier. However, they are renting the property out on Sunday mornings. Renting the venue can range from $95-$625, depending on the amount of time you need it and what space you are requesting. So let out a howl to alert your pack to some fun at the club and schedule some time for you and Fido to meet his friends, chase each other through the fields, and play fetch. You can contact the owners through their website to find a time to play with your four-legged friends.
