Trackside Dog Park
The park opened in the year of 2006 and first began as a test phase by the City of Coon Rapids. Most people who visit this park have become quite attached to all that it has to offer. However, it has been recently moved from Hummingbird Lane to Hanson Boulevard and 133rd Avenue.
The community of Coon Rapids is friendly, caring, and tight-knit. This park is known for the many different types of amenities that exist for your enjoyment. You will find a large dog area as well as a small dog area, a large area for exploring, benches, shade, and many trees. Water and dog bags are something that owners are to provide on their own.
When you visit the Coon Rapids Dog Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the city. All dogs must first be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can come to the park, and all female dogs in heat and young puppies under four months old must remain at home.
All owners must clean up and watch over their pets at all times, and all owners will be in charge of their pet's behavior. All pups are to be well-mannered before they come to any dog park in the area as these parks do not tolerate any aggressive behavior. The City of Coon Rapids enjoys this fantastic dog park and all of the wonderful adventures that it holds.
