Trails for Tails Dog Park (at Community Park)

Trails for Tails Dog Park is a public dog park located at the Community Park in Doral, Florida. In addition to the dog park, the eco-friendly community park is home to scenic lakes, viewpoints, nature paths and various hiking trails that run throughout the park and its beautiful wooded areas. The 75-acre park also features playgrounds, picnic areas, soccer fields, tennis courts, a splash pad, water slides, swimming pools, and public restrooms. 

It is the perfect place for a day in the sun with the entire family. The Trails for Tails Dog Park was opened in 2012 and since then has become a very popular destination for canine fun and exercise due to its featured amenities and size. The Trails for Tails Dog Park at Community Park is eight acres in size and thus provides tons of room for dogs to roam, run and play. 

Its layout is made up of two areas for dogs to enjoy without a leash. There is a small dog run section and a large dog run section which helps prevent mini pooches from getting accidentally trampled by the bigger dogs during playtime. Both areas feature walking paths that loop around each area and shaded benches which allow owners to remain comfortable while they keep their dogs in sight. 

The off-leash areas are equipped with canine water fountains that help make sure dogs remain hydrated and washing stations that allow owners to hose down their four-legged family members after playtime. This is very convenient considering the park’s surface is made up of lush grass, just be sure to pack a towel to dry off your pet. 

There are trees and bushes growing inside the dog park, making it a good location for dogs who love to sniff and explore too. Both areas are equipped with free waste bag stations and well-placed trash cans, so please do your best in keeping this park poop-free if you visit. Parking is located by the small dog area; it features a canine accessory vending machine which is quite rare.
