Alpharetta's Wills Park offers a lot to keep active humans happy. From baseball, pickleball, tennis to swimming, this play space is sure to wear even the sportiest of people out! There's even an equestrian center for those who love to spend time with their horses. But about your dog?
Wills Park even has a place for the excitable pup in your life, hidden in the top northeast corner of the park. Waggy World Paw Park was made for dogs in mind, and gives them a safe place where they can ditch the leash to run and play freely! Featuring three separate, fenced-in enclosures, every dog can get the wiggles out here! A small dog section is just for doggos weighing 25 lbs or less, which means your little pup can play with their own size. Another section is for social dogs of all sizes, while a third caters to canines who need their own space.
Relax on one of the benches and watch your pup have a ball, just be sure to keep them in sight. With plenty of room to run, the park also features dog obstacles, and shade for those hot days. A water faucet is on site, as is a bucket, but its always a good idea to bring your own bowl. Be sure to promptly pick up whatever your pup lays down with provided clean-up bags, or your own. Trash cans can be found through the park to help with disposal. Some areas can get muddy in wet conditions, so have a towel ready for a quick wipe down if visiting during those times.Â
Before heading to this furbulous spot, be sure your dog is current on their vaccinations, including for rabies, and is wearing valid tags on their collar. Keep your canine pal leashed when entering and exiting the dog park, and anywhere outside of it. If your dog gets tuckered out of socializatizing, clip on the leash and explore the rest of Wills Park's fields and trees. Have a picnic under a pavilion, watch the human kids at the playground, or just take a leisurely stroll. There's even a couple spots to camp for the night and gaze into the stars with your furry bestie.
Make your dog's day with a visit to furbulous Waggy World Paw Park at Wills Park!
