Waggy World Paw Park is a public dog park located at the Wills Park in Alpharetta, Georgia. This beautiful, 1.5-acre dog park is hidden behind the Alpharetta Community Center and is just a few minutes walk from the parking lot. The popular dog park is highly-rated by the community for a variety of reasons.
The Waggy World Paw Park is divided into three separate, double-gated, fenced-in areas. One area is dedicated to small dog breeds (under 25 lbs.), another is meant for larger dogs, and the third one accommodates a mix of both. All three provide plenty of running space for canines to enjoy and roam around freely in. There are also water faucets by the entrance; all you have to do is bring a bowl for your pooch. Dog waste bag dispensers are always filled and trash cans are conveniently located throughout the park which encourages patrons to be consistent when it comes to cleaning up after their dogs.
There are a couple of benches within the off-leash areas, a red hydrant, and several mature trees for dogs to mark. All three areas are naturally well-shaded and covered in grass, bark, and some soil. Needless to say, playtime can get pretty muddy after rainfall so make sure to bring a towel to wipe your pooch’s paws. In addition to the dog park, there are two swimming pools, basketball courts, playgrounds and restrooms nearby.
Waggy World Paw Park is a great place to bring your four-legged friend for some off-leash exercise and playtime. Since there are a variety of paved trails running through the Wills Park, feel free to walk around the park with your canine buddy on-leash before or after coming to the dog park. The regular patrons are said to be very friendly and most of the dogs that come to this park are well-behaved.
