This park is full of wildlife, nature, and pure history. This state park holds one of the deepest and largest freshwater springs that exist in the world, making it a favorite spot for many who come to explore the nature spots of Florida. 

When you come to visit this state park, you will find many different amenities that are available for your enjoyment. You will find historic sites, picnic tables, picnic shelters, lodging, campsites, boat tours, interpretive exhibit, playgrounds, concession stands, meeting center, a visitor center, hiking trails, biking trails, horseback riding trails, restrooms, a shower facility, and so much more. 

Dogs can also come to this state park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your visit to Wakulla Springs State Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the park region. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain at home. 

All canines and their humans must be well-mannered before they come to the Wakulla Springs State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Pet parents should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in the Wakulla Springs State Park. 

If you wish to camp, you must schedule a reservation. Reservations can be made on the park's main website or in the Wakulla Springs State Park's main office. Overall, the state of Florida is lucky to have such a fantastic park.
