Watson Mill Bridge Park is located in Comer, Georgia. Situated on 1,018 acres of property, this beautiful historic property is a family favorite destination. Watson Mill Bridge Park is the home of the longest covered bridge in Georgia, spanning 229 feet over the South Fork River. Visitors to this public recreational area praise its quaint beauty and charm. 

Fur buddies are welcome to join their owners on the grounds, but as is the case with most state parks, they must remain leashed. There is no designated dog play area at this park, and as a result, there are no on-site amenities supplied for them. With this in mind, owners should ensure that they bring drinking water and poop bags with them on their trip to the park. 

It is the expectation of park officials that all owners will assume responsibility for cleaning up after their pets. Watson Mill Bridge Park, a public recreational space and camping facility, is open to all people and their pooches at no cost. A reservation and fee is required to use a campsite or to rent a cabin or cottage. 

Keeping with the theme of the area, there are several log cabin bunkhouses available for rent as well. Watson Mill Bridge Park also offers 22 horse stables, and each of its trails is suitable for horseback riding. Among the many recreational opportunities at this scenic park are biking, geocaching, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, and paddle sports. 

Water access is available on the grounds, and bathrooms are also situated on the property for public use. For those hoping to enjoy some water sports, kayak and canoe rentals are available in season via an on-premise concession stand. Dogs visiting the park requires must be current on all immunizations and a city dog license is recommended.
