The two runs encompass 40,000 square feet in total. One of the two enclosures was designed specifically with the needs of small, senior, and shy dogs in mind. The runs at Wegmans Good Dog Park include exercise areas complete with tunnels, jumps, and bridges as well as brilliant red fire hydrants as decorative and amusing novelty items. Water is available in all play spaces to ensure Fido has access to a cool drink when needed. There are also poop bags provided on the premises. Also on the grounds for dogs and their owners to explore is a five-mile trail which runs the length of Onondaga Lake.
Dogs must be leashed in this area, and owners are advised that they must share the trail with bicyclists and other walkers.
