The fence is tall and sturdy in the large dog area and even has separate pens built in for canines that get out of hand and need to be removed from the others for a minute. The shade is provided for by a high canopy from trees in the park. Shade is entirely offered naturally, and no structures can be found here. Seating is reasonably abundant as benches are located throughout the park.
Outside of the dog park, there are varied activities available. Most notably the soccer complex the park is centered around. Several fields are often active at this park. Your canine is not allowed on these fields however they can be brought beside the fields provided they remain on a leash and off the field at all times. A canine chasing after a ball could ruin a soccer game pretty quick.
The greater area of the park also has restrooms available. The grounds themselves are pretty well maintained, and trash cans are open everywhere. In and around the dog area you can find bags provided by the park maintenance. There is also a concrete walking path through the off-leash section. Although it is not particularly long you could undoubtedly get a pleasant walk or run in while keeping your canine insight and off-leash.
Space itself is quite large, and you could play some more extended range games like fetch, but due to the canopy of trees, games like Frisbee would be unlikely. For the most part, this park makes for a great place to bring your canine to wear them out and socialize with others.
