Located within Ray Trent Park, Wiggly Field Dog Park is a fenced, three-acre area that is complete with amenities. There are separate zones for small dogs and big dogs so as the little canines are protected from injuries and accidents.Â
Both areas have slides and toys for the enjoyment of man’s best friend. The large dog area is vast, and it comes with an obstacle course too! There is plenty of room for Spike to run around, roll, and play to his heart’s content.
The fact that the dog park is inside Ray Trent Park allows your dog room to breathe when he or she gets overstimulated. You can quickly take your dog for a walk around the park to calm down and enjoy the sights with you. There are water fountains for pet parents and their furbabies, so you need not worry if you forget your supply.Â
Having fresh water readily available is a life-saver. However, the water fountains are turned off during the winter season. Just remember to bring your water during cold weather. Dog poop bags are not available in the park so pet parents must bring their own but there are trash cans all over for easy disposal.Â
Everyone is urged to help maintain the park’s cleanliness. The crowd in the dog park is generally friendly with well-behaved canines. There is a restroom in Ray Trent Park which pet parents can use. There are lots of shade where you can take refuge during afternoons when it is scorching hot.
The park is quite easy to find. Take the access road to the north of the highway heading east from Sunnydale, and you will see the park. Do remember that Pitbulls and children under the age of 10 are not allowed in all Del City parks. Overall, Ray Trent Park is neat, and it’s a family-friendly place where you would love to take your children and your pets too.Â
