The Wilson Dog Park is a fantastic off-leash dog park in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. This dog park is located in the city's Wilson Park and is somewhere dogs can not only enjoy off-leash time, but they can also have a swim too. Nothing in life is free and nor are Saint Cloud dog parks, or off-leash pet exercise areas (OLPEA), but for a pup to enjoy time in any of the dog parks in Saint Cloud the small investment asked is more than worth it. Pet parents can get their OLPEA permit from the City Hall by visiting the offices in working hours or by sending their application in by mail.Â
Don't forget to take or include all a pup's certifications for vaccinations and their license as they need to be seen before a permit is issued. For the yearly pleasure of exercising their fur baby in all of Saint Cloud's great dog parks, a resident of the city needs to pay just $20. There's an extra $10 charge for each additional dog if a pet owner has more than one. Non-residents need to pay $40 and $20 for every other pup. If a visitor is just passing through the city or a resident is not a habitual user of the dog park, they can pay $2 for a daily pass at any of the dog parks in Saint Cloud provided they have their dog's paperwork with them.Â
The Wilson Dog Park in Saint Cloud is an amazing piece of Wilson Park which has been fenced on three sides and is bordered by the Mississippi River on the fourth. The off-leash area, although shared by all sizes, is a grassy embankment more than big enough to allow pups room to roam without getting under each other's paws. The best thing for them here is they have direct access to the water and can swim whenever they want. Saint Cloud and its resident pet families are rightfully proud of this dog park and never leave a poop un-scooped.Â
