Staten Island pups know where the fun is at- Wolf's Pond Park Dog Run of course! Featuring pawtastic natural space designated just for canine fun, the dog run can be found in the southeastern corner of Wolf's Pond Park near the beach.
Dogs of all sizes will be wagging their tails at this park! With a small dog section, little puppers can play safely while the big dogs cavort in the larger area. Full fencing means pooches can ditch the leash and run with abandon under the shady trees. A double-gated entry provides extra security, and the dirt and woodchip terrain is easy on the paws.
This is a popular dog park on Staten Island, not just because it is a great place for the dogs to get some off-leash exercise, but because it has stunning views of the ocean. Owners can sit on the strategically placed benches and enjoy the view to their heart's content, while keeping an eye on their fur furiends. Clean-up bags and trash cans are on site, making it easy to pick up after your pup. And water is available during the warmer months for thirsty doggos, just be sure to bring your own during the winter.
Your dog will love exploring this gorgeous space that's tucked away from the rest of the park, just be sure they are ready for socialization. Before coming, your dog should be vaccinated and licensed, and be wearing their tags on their collars. While the park asks that you leave the toys at home, there are usually plenty of canine pals to keep them busy.
If you are visiting between October and April, you can keep the fun rolling with a walk to the nearby Wolfe’s Pond Beach after the dog park. Dogs are allowed to kick up the sand with you during these off season months, but will need to stay leashed at all times, and out of the water.
For a furbulous day out your pup won't soon furget, plan a trip to the Wolfe's Pond Park Dog Run today!
