The original park design included only one enclosure that was fully fenced. Recently, park officials added a second fenced play area intended for use by small and/or shy dogs only. This addition was undertaken in February 2018 and is now complete. Though the play areas are designated off-leash zones, owners are required to carry a lead with them at all times in case of an emergency.
Access to this doggy play haven is free of charge. Bathrooms are provided at the nearby Greenlake area for public use. A fresh supply of water suitable for drinking is also available to help meet all of Fido's hydration needs during his fun time at the park. Benches are provided in shaded areas to encourage owners to recline and relax while supervising their dogs at play.
A quick stroll through the property reveals a landscape that is breathtakingly beautiful. No detail has been overlooked in the park officials' attempts to beautify the space for all to enjoy. Though no specific rules govern the use of this public dog play space, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations. In addition to this, it is also advisable for all dogs to bear the appropriate required state license tag on their collars.
Complimentary poop bags are available on the premises for your convenience. Owners are required to pick up and properly dispose of all canine waste in a prompt fashion. For a relaxing day in a serene setting for Fido and the family, plan a visit to Woodland Dog Park!
