Many of Crane Creek’s trails are short, but they connect to other trails in the park, creating loops. One popular loop is the 1.9-mile Fiddleneck-Lupine-Creek Trail loop. Begin by hopping on the Fiddleneck Trail, which starts right next to Crane Creek’s parking lot. On the first part of the trail, you’ll climb up a hill where you’ll get great views of the surrounding area. Then, you’ll walk through a forest filled with wildlife.

After you’ve walked 0.42 miles on the Fiddleneck Trail, you’ll reach the Lupine Trail. Turn right onto this trail, and follow it through a picturesque meadow filled with popcorn flowers, fiddlenecks, oak trees, and more. After a short, 0.15-mile walk, you’ll reach the Creek Trail. Turn right onto this trail. As you walk along this part of the trail, you’ll pass Crane Creek, and you’ll go through a shady forest. Then, near the end of the trail, you’ll go through another meadow that’s home to stunning wildflowers.

You’ll follow Creek Trail for the remainder of your 1.5-mile walk. The trail ends back at Crane Creek Regional Park’s parking lot, where restrooms and a picnic area are available. There’s no drinking water available in Crane Creek Park — be sure to bring a few bottles with you for your trek.
