You can walk along the Palmetto Estuary, which lets you and Fido crest right up against the seawall. Leashed dogs are welcome, and there are even some sandy beaches where Fido can splash and play!

Memphis Road

Does your dog like to fuel up on Mediterranean food before heading to the park to chase his own tail? Living in the center of town off Memphis Road plants you right in the middle of the breezy action! First, you can head down Kostas Family Restaurant, offering three different menus for three different hankerings. You can get breakfast, traditional Greek and American fare, or seafood, depending on what you're craving. Try the Mykonos Chicken Sandwich or a Full Slab of BBQ ribs all at the same place. After filling up, you and Fido can walk down to Hydrant Park. You can stroll around the sidewalk trail or lounge in the grass. Either way, Fido's loving every second!

Tamiami Trail

When does your dog get most excited for his walk? If your Fido is a morning pupper, then the Tamiami Trail neighborhood is probably his favorite place. Here, you can visit Java N' Jive for a gourmet cup of coffee to pep you up for Fido's morning walk! Pop by Java N' Jive for an espresso, iced coffee, or hot chai. The coffee shop also serves pastries and other baked goods. After you get your caffeine fix, it's Fido's turn to play. Just around the corner is Sutton Park. Historic buildings, movies in the park, and seafood festivals are just a few of the attractions at Sutton. If you like fishing, you'll have quick access to the water, and Fido could spend the whole day just rolling around in the grass!

You two can head down to The Clam House, a fisherman-owned seafood restaurant that has been serving the community for over 38 years. Make your way through the maritime menu with specialties like the Mahi Mahi, Clam House Grouper, or even grab a Maikmano Roll. The bar pours them cold and the wooden porch looks over the marina. If Fido earns it, don't forget to pinch him off some table scraps for a treat!
