Pyramid Park is a pupperific 33-acre park that also serves as a golf course. If you are not worried about your golf game and just want to enjoy some quality time with your dog, there are plenty of walking paths that the two of you can sniff out. There are also outdoor grills and picnic tables if you want to bring the family for an afternoon of fun! There is a skate park to entertain the younger crowd while your pup enjoys the smells! Make sure you bring plenty of doggy waste bags and water with you to the park.

Ray Fosse Park is a centrally located recreational area with plenty to do on 27 acres of land! The park offers ball fields that are pawfect for the Ultimate Frisbee players in your family. There are five picnic pavilions if you want to bring your family and make a day out of it. There are two playground areas and more in the works to make the park even more inclusive for all families and children. Your dog is welcome to join your family at this park on-leash as long as you bring the waste bags and clean up carefully!

This intersection is where you will find a lovely community park for all ages. Russell Street Park is home to Marion's own Bark Park on the east side. This members-only dog park is 39,150 square feet of canine heaven -- well worth filling out an application for! The park is open 7 days a week during daylight hours. Here, you'll find separate areas for small and large breeds to play safely. There are three structures for dogs to play with on each side, made from re-purposed materials from other parks. The park has plenty of waste stations set up so clean-up is a breeze!

Ashley Park is a small community park and meeting space on the south side of Marion. The park is right across from homes and apartments, making it the pawfect family-friendly adventure on a weekend. There are picnic shelters and a playground for a simple day out of the house enjoying the weather. There are 10 acres of open fields if you want to pack up some tennis balls or a Frisbee for an invigorating exercise routine with your pooch! Make sure you bring plenty of waste bags and dispose of them properly before you leave this lovely little park.

The John W. Jones Park is a small public green space open to community members and visitors to Marion. It is just south of the Community Center.  There are basketball courts and a picnic shelter for a day of exercise and family fun! There are also outdoor grills and a colorful, modern playground built with a KaBoom grant. Dog walkers are welcome to bring their pooches with them to this little park as long as pups are on-leash and well-behaved. You will also need plenty of waste bags. Snacks are always encouraged as part of a fully stocked dog pack!
