Clow Stephens Dog Park can be found in South Plainfield, and this safely enclosed park will guarantee a pawesome time for you and your canine friend! The enclosed area is separated into two zones -- one is for little dogs under 30 lbs., and the other one is for larger pups over 30 lbs. The place is pretty spacious and well-maintained, which means that your pup will have a lot of fun in a healthy environment. There are also a couple of trees here which will provide shade on hot days.

Whalon Lake Dog Park is around 35 miles -- or a 45-minute drive -- away from Morris. This furrific, fenced dog park in East Naperville has plenty of space for your pup to play and sniff out some new furry friends. The park is divided into two sections: one is 8 acres and is designated for large dogs over 30 lbs., and the other one is 2.5 acres and is set aside for smaller pups under 30 lbs. If you want to play here, you'll need to obtain a permit first. For the comfort of the doggie pawrents, there is a shelter and plenty of benches in the park.

You should be aware that there is no water available at the dog park, so you should definitely bring some of your own. The dog park is just one of the pawesome parts of this 1,300+ acre park! You and Fido can also hike and enjoy some breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline, or share a picnic and do some bird-watching. Dogs must be leashed outside the dog park.

Thirty-two miles north of Morris, you'll find Lincoln Dog Park, situated in Central Aurora. Although this dog park requires all visitors to obtain a permit, it's one of the best dog parks close to Morris! The permit will also grant you and Fido access to Gregory Island Dog Park in northern Aurora. Lincoln Dog Park is equipped with fresh water and plenty of water bowls for thirsty pups. Doggie waste bags are also provided, so all you need to worry about bringing is plenty of energy to play with your pal! Locals praise the Fox Valley Park District for keeping the park clean and well-maintained.

South Aurora
Phillips Park Dog Park is located 32 miles away from Morris, in South Aurora. This 3-acre park has a separate area where overexcited pups can take a time out and chill for a minute. The park is double-gated and has two separate entrances. Although there are waste bag dispensers here, you should bring your own baggies, because locals note the dispensers are often empty. Also be sure to bring your own water, as there is no running water source in the park. You and Fido will still have a ball here, though! (A tennis ball, that is.) Your pup is welcome to explore the rest of Phillips Park with you, as long as he stays on-leash.
