Winchester Road Improvement
Auburn doesn't have any dog parks of its own, but you don't need to worry about that since you'll find a furrific one just 26 miles away! Pawster Park is an off-leash park located in the Winchester Road Improvement area of South Fort Wayne. The gate for entering the park is passcode-protected, and you'll need to purchase an annual pass if you want to obtain it. There are two decent-sized, fenced enclosures for small and large dogs here, both of which have doggie drinking fountains. The park is very clean and well-maintained, so make sure you bring waste baggies to help keep it that way!

Thirty miles away from Auburn is the Eagle Marsh Nature Preserve in West Fort Wayne, another place suitable for an on-leash stroll with your pup. This beautiful preserve offers a variety of different trails both in length and difficulty. The best thing about this park is that there are a couple of places where doggos are allowed to swim and cool off in the water! This preserve is the pawfect place to go if you need to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for awhile. Make sure you bring water and waste baggies, and something to protect yourself from the mosquitos.
