Defiance City Center
For a pawsome day in the sun with your canine, head to Kingsbury Park when you are in Defiance! This is a pupastic 15 acre park where you can let your pooch run and roam on the grass, as well as play a game of fetch. There are also some furrific amenities here, including tennis courts, a basketball court and a playground for the kids. There are also shelters with picnic tables for enjoying a treat. Another great park that your pup will love is Compo Park! There is lots of open grass here, as well as some trees for shade, and a basketball court.

Mccollister Rd/ Boy Scout Rd
A park you have got to visit when you are in Defiance is Riverside Park! This is puptastic place where there is grass to roll and roam, as well as a sniff-tastic wooded trail that you can explore. There is also a playground for the kids, as well as a baseball field you can use for practice. All pups can be top dog here, as long as he or she remains on leash. Another pawsome place for pooches is the Latty Grove Park! Here there is lots of grass and plenty of trees to provide shade when it is hot outside. There are also two tennis courts, as well as a playground to keep the kids amused.

Ayersville
You can’t visit Defiance and not visit Bronson Park! This is a puptastic 25 acre park where your pooch can have some fun in the sun on the grass. There are trees that provide shade when it is hot outside, as well amenities that you can use to keep the whole family amused on your dog walk. There is a basketball court, two tennis courts, a baseball field, playground area, and shelters and picnic tables for relaxing. Your pup is welcome to roam off leash at Bronson Park, as long as he or she is under voice control at all times.

Powers Rd/ Canal Rd
When your stomach starts to growl, be sure to head to Eric’s All American Ice Cream Factory when you are in Defiance! This is a pawsome place to enjoy a treat since they serve up some furrific handcrafted ice cream in a range of flavors, such as monster cookie, amaretto cherry and birthday cake. In addition, you can also try one of their milkshakes or slushes! Of course, your furry friend is welcome at one of the outdoor tables here. If your pooch has been a good boy, then you have got to get a treat at Dairy Queen! While you can dig into some chicken strips, burgers, hot dogs or sandwiches, your beloved companion can enjoy a special Pup Cup!
Defiance College/ Route 24
One of the best places to bring your furry friend to in Defiance is Diehl Park! Here you have almost 40 acres of land to explore with your pooch, with plenty of green grass for exercise and playtime. In addition, your beloved companion is welcome to roam off leash, as long as he or she has good recall. Other pawsome amenities at Diehl Park include ball fields, basketball courts, a big playground area for the kids to enjoy, and shelters with picnic tables so you can relax and enjoy some treats and shade with your pup when it is hot outside.
