Your pup is always welcome to join you on the patio. Even at lunch, there is lots of shade and a cool spot to enjoy your meal. The atmosphere is quiet and homelike. The gelato is a local favorite, so be sure to try a bowl. Don’t forget to bring a water bowl for your pup -- the staff will serve him in his own bowl. This is a great family spot with mouthwatering food made fresh!

Prickett Marina
Margaret Prickett Dog Park is a very large dog park located inside Prickett Marina Park. The large enclosure is fully fenced in. Within it, you can find a wooded section, a hilly area, and flat grassland that is perfect for playing a game of fetch in. It has all the amenities that you need, including water, poop bags, and resting benches. There are plenty of places to sit and relax with your dog outside of the gate as well. If you bring your leash, you can enjoy a walk around the trails. This great adventure is only eight miles from you!

University Area
Nine miles from Granger is the East Bank Trail. This is one of the very first Rails-to-Trails projects completed in the area. It features a little over a mile of trails that’s broken in two sections. It takes you through the campus of Notre Dame as well as the Holy Cross College Campus. Along the way, you will see some historic markers that will tell you more about the community and the trail. The end of the trail has a small park with restrooms and water fountains. This is a city trail that is often used by students.

Gertrude Street
Rum Village Park is just the place that you and your dog need to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. You will find miles of trails that run through the woods. Some of the trails are harder than others, so you can choose your difficulty level. There is even a nature center set up so that you can learn about the wildlife that calls this area home. All in all, there are 160 acres of woodlands to explore! Just remember to keep your puppy on his leash because there is nothing worse than them accidentally scaring a skunk.
