Whether you're a resident of Macedonia or just visiting, you absolutely have to bring your dog to Bow Wow Beach Park! This dog-friendly park can be found around 13 miles away from Macedonia, in north Stow. The park is pretty large at 7.5 acres and includes a 5-acre lake! The park is gated to keep pups safe, and there is a hose near the exit so you can wash the sand from Fido's fur. There are also benches where human visitors can rest up, as well as plenty of waste stations throughout the park. And the best thing about the park is that it’s completely free!

Twenty-two miles away from Macedonia is another place that's pawfect for spending some quality time with your pooch and getting some exercise. Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park features separate areas for small and large pups enclosed with five-foot fences. This 7-acre doggie park also has a seasonal pond where your pooch can cool off. The park offers many fun amenities that you and your pup will love, including wooded areas and wide open spaces suitable for playing some fetch! If you decide to give this place a shot, bring some waste baggies and water. (Neither are provided here.) Get ready for a furrific day at the park with your best furry friend!

Tremont
Another great option is Tremont Park, located in Tremont, Cleveland. This off-leash, fenced park is located approximately 21 miles away from Macedonia and features gravel cover so you don't have to worry about muddy paws! There are plenty of shade trees in the park which are much appreciated on summer days. Water fountains designed for humans and canines are available, in addition to waste stations and benches that are the perfect place to relax and look over your pup. The entrance to the park is double-gated to keep pups safe inside the fenced areas. There is plenty of parking near the park as well.

South Euclid
Approximately 19 miles north of Macedonia, you'll find South Euclid Dog Park, where pups can play their hearts out off-leash! The park is spacious and has plenty of fun agility equipment that's perfect for training your dog and teaching him some new tricks. The ground is divided into a grass-covered section and a sandy section. There are no separate areas for small and large pups, and there isn't a lot of shade. However, a water pump and bowls are provided, as well as plenty of waste scoopers and baggies in the fenced areas. If you're looking for a dog park that's closer to Macedonia, visit Twinsburg Dog Park, located only 8 miles away in Twinsburg. This park is pretty bare bones (pun totally intended), but it provides enough room for your pooch to roam. There are separate areas for small and large dogs, which are both safely fenced. The park isn't usually crowded during the day, but you can find plenty of furry friends to play with in the afternoons. You'll have to bring your own waste baggies and water, but the park provides water bowls.
