Norwood
The neighborhood of Norwood is home to not only a dog park, but a pond as well. On the western side of the neighborhood rests Pinegate Pond, a nice little pond where your pooch is free to splash around in the water. Along the pond are plenty of trees where you and your furry best friend can enjoy a nice walk! Towards the eastern side of the neighborhood is Memorial Dog Park, where residents go to let their pups have some off leash play time with other canines. This dog park is fully fenced and provides waste bags for your usage. A water fountain, toys, and picnic tables can also be found here!

Bar Holly Rock
The neighborhood of Bar Holly Rock is truly a treat for residents and their pups. Being located right beside Eleanor B Garfield Park gives people and their pooches ample opportunity to be outdoors enjoying the fresh air. This park offers amenities such as a pool, covered and uncovered picnic tables, benches, washrooms, a pavilion, and a waterfall. There are lots of water opportunities for your furry friend. A river runs through the park where your dog can splash around, and there is also a pond as well. Bring some bread to feed the ducks, but make sure your pup does not chase them! There are lots of trails for you both to wander along, where you might even spot some wildlife.24

Mentor-on-the-Lake
Residents of this neighborhood enjoy spending time with their dogs at Veterans Memorial Park. No matter what the season, there is so much beauty to see. In the summer, there are flowers for your pup to sniff, and in the fall, the trees turn gorgeous colors as their leaves fall to the ground. Make a pile of leaves and let your pup play in them, as this is a fun way to spend a day! This park has washrooms, benches, picnic tables, and a water area for fishing. You will find lots of wildlife at Veterans Memorial Park, and so many trails to explore! Pack a leash, or let your behaved pup walk off leash with you, and go stretch those legs!12

Mentor Headlands Golf
Why do residents and their dogs love living in the Mentor Headlands? There is one big reason that really stands out, and it happens to be that there is a huge natural space right within their neighborhood! Mentor Marsh Nature Center is a large green area with lots of trails filled with flowers alongside the paths, wildlife to see, water to play in, and all around beautiful scenery to take in. Boardwalks run alongside the water where you can walk easily while your pup bounces in and out of the lake. If you are looking for a guided tour of the park, these are offered here as well.

Hopkins Idlewood
The neighborhood of Hopkins Idlewood has not one, but two parks where residents often enjoy spending a morning, afternoon, or evening with their dogs. Wildwood Cultural Center and Park has a beautiful green space filled with trees and other features such as a garden with a gazebo, fairy gardens, and other flower gardens as well. Keep your pup on leash while on the grounds! Donald E. Krueger Park is also located in this neighborhood and has amenities including a washroom, playground, sports fields, picnic tables, and benches. There are lots of trails to walk along with your pup as well.
