Here you can enjoy some barking good pastries, salads and soup, as well as fresh coffee and hot chocolate. There are also lots of outdoor tables where your canine can relax with you – bone-a-petit!

Midway Mall/ W River Rd N

Just south from Sheffield, you will find the puptastic puptown of Elyria! Here you can head to the Chipotle Mexican Grill for some furrific food, like burritos, tacos and salads while you choose your own toppings to go with your meat or vegetables. There are also seven outdoor tables where your furry friend is welcome to join you while you eat. Since there are not any dog friendly hotels in Sheffield, you can stay in the Days Inn and Suites in Elyria. This pawsome place welcomes two pups of any size for a small additional fee per night.

Gulf Rd/ Poplar St

Every pup loves a trip to the park, which means you have got to head to Elyria and visit the pawsome Elywood Park! This is puptastic place for pooches since there are sniff-tastic trails you can head to for some exercise. Your pup will love to wander through the woodlands with you and investigate all of the new scents and sights of nature along the way! This trail also connects to Cascade Park, which has beautiful waterfalls and forests you can explore with your pooch. There are also picnic areas where you can stop for a rest and treat.

E 31st/ Grove Ave

For a pawsome day out with your pooch, head over to Lorain! Not far from Sheffield, this town is home to the puptastic Oakwood Park. This huge green spot in town where you can roam and explore with your canine offers plenty of grass, as well as lots of trees for shade on hot days. There is also a walking path that you can wander around for some exercise and to explore the land. In addition, you will find some furrific amenities at Oakwood Park you can enjoy. This includes baseball fields, basketball courts and restroom facilities.

Not far from Sheffield, you will find the puptastic Lorain, the home of the puptastic Cromwell Park! Here there is lots of grass for rolling and roaming, as well as lots of trees for providing shade on hot days. There is also lots of sniff-tastic trails for tails at Cromwell Park where you can go to explore the woods and stretch your furry friend’s legs. All pups are welcome at Cromwell Park, as long as he or she remains on leash. Be sure to bring some water and treats for your pup, as there aren’t lots of facilities here.
