Weybridge
Residents and dogs of the Weybridge neighborhood love living close to the Westlake Park. This park is home to the Westlake City Recreation Center. Dogs are welcome to play with their humans on the expansive 86 acre property, as long as they stay leashed and follow proper petiquette. Here you can find a 1.2 mile walking track, a large variety of athletic fields, and a playground. There is also a 5 acre lake that is great for fishing, and simply to enjoy it's views. After working up an appetite from all that playtime, head over to Sweet Basil Pizza, located in the same neighborhood. Here you can dig into some pizza made from scratch next to your best pal at one of the dog friendly outdoor tables.

King James Grant
In the neighborhood of King James Grant, you can find the woofderful Clague Park. This park is very popular among dogs and their walkers, so get ready to make some furry friends! You and your canine companion can take a relaxing stroll along the walking paths, or stop and feed to the ducks on the pond. There are plenty of athletic fields and a playground in this park, so why not bring the whole family. Other amenities include restrooms, picnic areas, and a community center. Leashed dogs are welcome, but don’t forget the waste bags and dog treats for your good boy or girl!

Brenton Woods
In the north end of Westlake is Roman Park, another great place for your morning walk with Fido. This park can be found in the Brenton Woods neighborhood, off of Ranney Parkway. Roman Park features sprawling grassy areas and athletic fields that your pup is free to sniff and play on as long as there are no sports in play. The park also features a playground, concession stand, and restroom facilities. Leashed dogs are welcome! When you feel like quenching your thirst after playing in the sun with your puppy, head over to Sibling Revelry Brewery, located in the same neighborhood. In this brewery’s low key, open atmosphere dogs are welcome to join you inside or outside while you sip on a unique craft beer.

Bradley Rd
If you and your dog are just itching to get into the Great Outdoors, the Bradley Woods Reservation in the neighborhood of Bradley Road is the place to go. This vast 795 acre park is a wetland forest that is teeming with wildlife you can spot while exploring the 2 miles of trail that meanders throughout the reservation. The trail circles around Bunns Lake, where you can often see geese, ducks and blue herons. There are also picnic areas, grills, and restrooms, so why not bring a lunch and spend the day? Dogs are welcome to join their humans of course, as long as they stay leashed. Be sure to leave no trace and help keep this park clean!
Lakewood West End
In the nearby town of Lakewood, you can find another puppy paradise! It’s the Lakewood West End neighborhood, just a 15 minute drive from Westlake, that is proud home to the Lakewood Dog Park. This dog park provides a safe place for your pup to enjoy some off-leash freedom and some pawsitive socialization. It has two separate fenced off areas, one for big dogs and another for the little guys. Here you can find everything you need, including water bowls, waste bags and even toys! When your stomach is growling, head over to Panera Bread, in the same neighborhood. They offer an eclectic deli and bakery menu, and outdoor dog friendly seating.
