"I cant believe you managed to run with her anytime i have tried she has sent me ass over teakettle. Lol. Nice work."
Walking Fido in the city may be a difficult task sometimes, but East Elmhurst, NY makes it pretty easy. As a neighborhood of the borough of Queens in New York City, the area is in the northern center of the city, lying along the Flushing Bay. With over half a dozen parks and one animal hospital, you won't have any trouble giving Fido the care and exercise he needs.
Overlook Park is without a doubt the perfect place for a walk. From a thickly wooded area to a hilly terrain, you won't be able to overlook this park. The park has trash bins, water fountains and a long walking trail that zigzags throughout the park with beautiful views of the bay and LaGuardia Airport.
If something more open is what you're looking for, head south to Hinton Park, an area occupied by open fields and baseball fields. Dogs must remain on leash around the park, but have plenty of space to run around with access to clean-up stations and benches.
East Elmhurst has plenty more options like Planeview Park, Bulova Park or Veterans Plaza! No matter where you choose to go, Fido will be sure to have fun and get out all that energy!
The next point on your dog-walking adventure shouldn't just be any point, but College Point. Only 6 miles away, the neighborhood lies on the opposite side of Flushing Bay of East Elmhurst. If you're trying to pinpoint a specific park to go to, then look no further then Frank Golden Memorial Park. The area is right on the East River and takes up a whole peninsula. With over 1 and a half of paved walking trails, the scenic park can't be beat for dog walking places. Not only that, but the park even houses helpful amenities like clean-up stations, water fountains, restrooms, benches and even wi-fi hotspots.
Hi! My name is Nataly. I currently attend Brooklyn College. I have a great love for dogs. I've been pet sitting and dog walking around NYC for a little over 4 years. I have a dog of my own, his name is Roger so I know everything there is to know about owning a dog. I'm well aware of how important your pet is to you so I always try to do my best to make you feel secure and relaxed when I'm with your pet. I'm punctual, trustworthy, patient and attentive. I can't wait to meet your best friend and provide them with a good time!
Hi! My name is Tiffany. I grew up raising two lovable German Shepherds and Siberian Husky. Some of my hobbies include hiking, going to the gym, reading, swimming, and going to theatre plays. I love dogs of all breeds and sizes! I have experience pet sitting several neighbors and relatives dogs including Shit-Tzus, Maltese, cocker spaniels, and beagles. I would love the opportunity to meet your dog and give them the love and care I give my own pets!
