The city of Lake Mills, Wisconsin is located on the east shore of Rock Lake. It got its name from Captain Joseph Keyes, who named it this because of the saw and grist mills located in the area. Both mills were using power that was being produced by the nearby lake, Rock Lake.

Although it might not have the most original name in the world, this city is home to several amenities that you and your canine friend can enjoy. If you are hankering for a meal with your pooch, this is the city to be in! There are three dog-friendly restaurants here, all of which provide seating for you and your furry friend to enjoy a nice meal together. You have your choice of grabbing a hot dog with your pooch, sharing a slice of pizza together, or enjoying a cold brew with your meal while you are hanging out with your best canine pal.

If you're looking to get in some mutts-needed activity after chowing down with your hound, you'll find a beautifully scenic (and dog-friendly!) hiking trail here. If you happen to get bored of all of these pawesome activities, there are a lot of other amenities to be found just a short drive away in the nearby cities.
