“A walk a day keeps the doggy doctor away!”
Hello hello! My name is Isabelle and I'm a 20-year-old college student. My family has always had dogs growing up and I also worked at a dog daycare a few summers ago where I spent each day playing with and taking care of 10-15 dogs, so I have lots of experience dealing with dogs of different temperaments, energy levels, personalities, etc. I have also been a dog-sitter on multiple occasions for family friends. I'd love to meet your pup and take them on a little adventure!

Hello!!! My name is Stacy and I would like to tell you a little about myself and my experiences that will help you feel more comfortable about leaving your fur babies in my care. I was a Veterinary Technician for over 20+ years and also have had several animals of my own through the years. Since I retired from the field, I have missed seeing and spending time with clients and their animal babies! With dog walking, I can enjoy time with them again! I mean, really, why would you NOT want to be happily greeted, kissed AND get some exercise all at the same time!!??
My name is Tim and I have been a dog lover since I was young. Growing up, we always had a dog in our house. This taught me a lot about responsibility for a pet and their care. I love spending time with dogs, both indoors and outdoors, and giving them special attention. There is nothing better than being greeted by a four-legged friend and having your face covered with kisses! I would love to take your dog outside to explore nature, play, and make sure that they are cared for so you don't have to worry about them.

The historic city of Janesville, Wisconsin was founded in 1853, and 20% of the state’s buildings on the National Register of Historic Places are there. About 63,600 people and an estimated 14,286 dogs live there too so there are some excellent dog parks and other places to bring your furbaby while you are there.
With such a beautiful state, even the dog parks are amazing. Paw Print Park on South Oakhill Avenue is huge, with 17 acres separated for large and small furbabies. PPP is part of Prairie Knoll Park, a gorgeous 40-acre park with tons of stuff to do while you are there.
Palmer Park on East Racine Street is a paradise for dogs with a large area of wild and untamed woods that Fido can get into. He will love sniffing out the squirrels and other dogs while you relax and enjoy the beauty. There is a trail you can both get some exercise on that will take you into the wildlife area where you can see some critters.
Tails N Trails Dog Park on Elm Street is more than 18 acres and has a pond Fido can swim in, plenty of space to run, and even some agility equipment like a ramp, ladder, and tunnels. There are dog washing sinks and tubs you can use before you let your furbaby back in the car and a playground right next to it for the kiddies.
If you and your pup find yourselves in the East Delevan Drive/Beloit Avenue area of Janesville, Wisconsin, be sure to visit the Palmer Park Off-Leash Dog Area. Located in the scenic Palmer Park, this designated off-leash area for dogs has several paths and grassy areas to explore. However, this park is best for dogs who respond well to their owners’ commands as it is not fenced in. A small river runs through the park and provides the perfect spot for hot dogs to cool off. Conveniently located off I-94, this park is a perfect pitstop for travelers and is free to use.
In Janesville’s southwest corner lies Paw Print Park. This dog park is located at Prairie Knoll Park and offers 17 acres of space for off-leash play. A separate area for small dogs ensures that dogs weighing less than 25 pounds can play without fear of larger breeds. The park has running water with a hose hookup to fill water dishes and hose off muddy paws. There is also a drinking fountain so humans can stay hydrated while visiting the park as well. This park does require a daily fee, which is payable on-site. Locals may also apply for an annual pass.
When you’re in Janesville’s Afton neighborhood, stop by the Rock River Parkway Off-Leash Area. The off-leash area is part of the beautiful Rock River Park, and it is the perfect place to go and let your dog stretch his legs. This park is not fenced in, however, and dogs must remain under their owners’ control at all times. The off-leash area is open daily from 5 am to 11 pm. It features a well-kept trail that is appropriate for walking, jogging and biking, and your dog will love sniffing and exploring this popular area. There is plenty of parking, and this off-leash area is a good place to visit with the entire family.
Located just under 30 miles to the northwest of Janesville, the town of Stoughton is home to the popular Viking Dog Park. Your canine companion will go wild for this large, fenced-in park. The dog park is part of the larger Viking County Park and features several designated for dogs. The fenced-in exercise area is on a peninsula that extends into the Yahara River and features two dog beaches. There are wooded trails as well as an expensive open area. Visitors to the park must purchase daily permits, which are available onsite. Your four-legged friend is sure to have a tail-wagging good time at this amazing park!
Just eight miles northeast of Janesville, the one neighborhood of Milton has an amazing dog park for pups to explore. Tails N Trails spans 15 acres and separate fenced areas for large dogs and small dogs. There is a clean water source, access to trails and agility equipment for dogs to enjoy. Outside the fenced-in area, there is a playground for children visiting the park. A washing station with water is available during the summer months. A swimming pond is available but has a fence that can be closed to keep your dog out. The park is free to visit and has plenty of off-street parking.
